Sat Sept 5. Ended the day at 1895.3 for 13.9 trail miles today. There were also about 3 miles to and from Shelter Cove.
Woke up to a winter wonderland. It was beautiful, unexpected, quiet. The snow disappeared as I hiked and lost elevation.
Forecast calls for nice weather for the next week.
I resupplied at Shelter Cove, charged phone batteries. Stayed there about 3 hours had coffee and a hot dog. Didn't shower or laundry but instead hiked on. Saw quite a few other hikers.

All the delights of civilization, coffee & hot dogs! Glad the snow is melting for you. I hope that it doesn't get too cold.
