Wednesday, Sept 2. Ended at 1950.1 for 9.5 miles today.
This morning I woke to a light rain. Didn't know if I should wait it out, gave it to 7:30 then packed up and out by 8.
It was low clouds, drizzle, light rain. I was headed to Elk Lake for resupply. Got there around 1, and...it was too inviting. So I stayed over in one of those primate cabins (no electric, no water). Given that it has rained hard for 3 hrs (so far), getting the cabin was a wise choice. Got to use my "luxury" item...an umbrella I took on this trip.
I was able to shower and dry my gear. My resupply box had been invaded by mice, but I have enough to get to the next place.
Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, but Friday is 70% showers likely.
