Thurs Sept 17. Ended at 1691.8 for 24..4 miles today.
I was dropped off at the trailhead about 7 am in less than desirable weather and sure enough it rained lightly all morning. I got wet mostly from the "car wash" (wet vegetation got my pants and shoes very wet.
It was hard getting my stride going. My knee hurt and there were several elevation changes. Hiked till dark. Only saw one person all day, a local.
It was cold but my sleeping bag is keeping me warm. Frost in the morning. Overall it was a tough day, but I did end up with good miles.
