Tuesday Sept 7. Finished at 1828.6 for 24.9 miles today. Fun fact: I have hiked 315.8 trail miles on the trip so far!
Warm last night, didn't sleep well. Did almost 16 miles by 1:00 pm thanks to easy trail, and then it got difficult for the afternoon.
Most of the day was just making miles, but then...CRATER LAKE! Stunning! Walked along the Rim looking at views for a couple of hours.
Got to the Rim Village just as cafe closed, but I did get an ice cold coke. Tomorrow plans are not so sure, will play it by ear. A couple hours to Mazama Village where a resupply box awaits...getting shower and laundry for sure, along with phone battery recharge. There are no rooms available, that will have to wait to Ashland.
That was a lot of miles (for me) today!
