Friday Sept 4. Finished at 1909.2 for 18.6 miles today.
Today set me up to arrive early at Shelter Cove, about 7 miles away. Here I will pick up my next resupply box, shower and laundry. They have backpacker campsites, I will probably stay there.
Someone on the trail said it got down to the 20's last night.
I almost stayed at the ski shelter, but the weather improved while I was there so I moved on. I saw snow flakes come down for 15 to 30 min.
Currently camped 30' from a lake. Wondering if it was a wise decision to pass on ski shelter...weather outlook is iffy.
Late edit: it's snowing, but I am warm and dry.
I can't believe that you are seeing snow! We are having lovely weather here. We had a nice campfire tonight. We celebrated Kristen's birthday with Mom & Dad.
