I woke up early (first light) to hike the 10 miles to a road that takes me to Trout Lake. There were 3 or 4 others camped near me, hope I didn't wake them up.
This is supposed to be a difficult hitch, but a car stopped 3 minutes after I got there. Yay!
There are no rooms in town, because of a fair. But I was clever. I stopped at the general store/motel and offered to rent a dirty room for an hour. That way I could shower and do laundry. Which was AWESOME!
I found there is a Buddist Abbey that also serves as a bed and breakfast a few miles out of town, so a person offered to drive me there and here I am! This is an amazing place!
