There is only one story line today - the climb out of Belden! 2221' to 7080' over 13.5 miles. Took me forever. Stopped at mile 1304.6 for a total of 14.6 miles.
Saw a guy my age who lives in Iowa and is a Hawkeye alum, he was travelling from Crater Lake to South Lake Tahoe. Just about my trip but SOBO.
Bam Bam and I are leapfrogging each other, he just passed by and will camp at the next water source.
Today was hard, but I feel great that I could do it.
